TEMPORARY RECRUIMENT OF PROJECT STAFF:
Balochistan Forest and Wildlife Department is implementing a PSDP funded project titled Development of Forest Management Information System for REDD+ Readiness in Balochistan". The overall objective of this project is to develop a provincial forest management information system as part of REDD+ readiness preparation in Balochistan to get access to result based payments from international financing windows and compliance/ private carbon market mechanism. To support the implication of field activities and manage financial records, a fully dedicated manpower is required for this project who will work under the guidance of the Project Director/ Chief Conservator Balochistan to assist the project activities. Balochistan Forest and Wildlife Department, therefore, requires following temporary professional and technical stall equipped with the required knowledge and expertise to implement this project.
1.GIS Specialist (BPS 18)
Requirement:
Post-graduate degree in GIS or natural sciences, forestry Geography, engineering or agriculture with specialization in GIS and Remote sensing. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in handing GIS/RS assignment
2. Information Management Specialist (BPS-18)
Requirement:
Hold at least a Bachelor or Master Degree preferably in Computer sciences/ Management Sciences/ GIS/ MIS. At least 3-5 years of practical experience of GIS tools and database development. Hei she should have good writing skills, survey techniques skills, data analysis, preparation and report writing.
4. Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (BPS-18)
Requirement:
Master Degree in Social sciences or agriculture/ forestry or NRM with at least 10 year of professional experience in land use planning and NRM. Experience in the developing participatory FMIS land use planning would be an advantage. Good organizational management and technical skills with track record of Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) or community based projects.
4.Admin / Finance Officer (BPS-17)
Requirement:
The candidate should possess a Master's degree preferable in Management Sciences (MBA- Finance, M.Com, MS, Statistics'), with minimum 5 years of experience in financial management of GOP/ NGO,s or development assistance work; Knowledge of computers, including basic hardware maintenance; Expertise in project formulation and implementation will be an added advantage.
5.Admin Assistant(BPS 14)
Requirement:
Bachelor Degree in Management Sciences! Public Administration or any other related discipline preferably with some knowledge of REDD++.
6 Female Representative (BPS-14)
Requirement:
Bachelor Degree with at least 2 years Experience of working with local communities.
7.Office Boy (BPS-05)
Requirement:
Must be literate (can read and write Urdu, calculate expenditure. etc.) Age between 18-30 years and in best physical & mental health. Knowledge of local languages. Preference will be given higher literacy and experience.
